Why do blogs exist?

I suppose they exist because people want to be heard. People want to know that their opinion counts for something. People want to matter.

But do they? Does having a blog really change much? Who gets glorified when a person writes in a blog?

Does a blog need a theme? Or should everything that doesn’t fit anywhere else in life go there?

I thought that was so, but I found that there were things that I could not write in my old blog precisely because I didn’t know who was reading it.

So maybe with this new blog, I shall use it for a new purpose, a new theme, a new focus.
