#4 I give thanks to my government for controlling the traffic in my country so that it doesn’t take two hours to get to anywhere in the country

In Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, Singapore’s nearest neighbour, people prefer to take the bus to Singapore than to take the plane, because it can be said that it takes about the same time. The traffic jams in K.L. are that bad.

In some cities in India such as Calcutta, people have to wake up at 4.00am just to make sure that they reach the office in time to start work.

In Singapore, it takes less than two hours to get to anywhere on the island, even at peak hour in the longest traffic jams.

I am so grateful to our Singapore government for controlling the traffic in my country so that it doesn’t take two hours to get to anywhere in the country, that I don’t have to wake up at 4.00am to make sure I reach my office in time to start work, and that I do not reach home at 11.00pm if I finish work at 7.00pm.

See why I am writing this post.
