How shall I describe this movie? Ah, I know! Did you watch The Happening? Well, in that movie there was a lot of fuss and build-up in the marketing of the movie, and you know what the fuss was all about? You know what was The Happening? Well, according to those that watched it, Nothing was happening.
And Nothing is also the central lesson to be learned in Kung Fu Panda. The difference is, this movie is happening! It’s a real laugh out movie, peppered with cliche kung fu quotes and lots of hilarious ones.
Simply the idea of putting a fat, stinky, big-bellied panda voiced by Jack Black is enough to draw the laughs. But the team that produced this movie really knows how to entertain the whole family.
With excellent comic timing, and hilarious bits for the adults, Kung Fu Panda really made me cry… from all the laughing.
Best watched in a group.
