Press photographers can be so rude! - True or false?

Attending a high-level event like the funeral Mass of Archbishop Emeritus Gregory Yong really shows the difference between a church photographer and one from the secular media.
It’s not that the church photographers are less professional (actually I think they’re more professional). It’s that church photographers are usually more polite. It also helps that we know [...]

Baby yellow birdie

I found out today why the yellow bird was hovering around outside my window. I spied a weird mess on the roof outside my window and, wondering what it was, I went closer to take a look. I found a baby yellow bird outside my window.
My dad suggested taking it in and caring for it. [...]

Yellow birdie

I was doing my work when a tiny yellow bird landed on my window grille next to me, literally within arm’s reach. I grabbed my camera (also within arm’s reach) and snapped a few photos of this daring yellow birdie.

The Mysterious Staircase… in Singapore

A friend sent to me this PowerPoint Presentation titled “The Mysterious Staircase” which is about, well, a mysterious staircase that was built at the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA, that was supposedly built by St. Joseph over 130 years ago.
According to the legend, a chapel was constructed in the 19th century and [...]

Boy-boy’s first day at the beach

Nutella and I took John Paw (Boy-boy) to the beach for the first time on Sunday. Why do we call him ‘Boy-Boy’? Well, that’s what Nutella’s grandma calls the dog. Dialect-speaking, she can’t pronounce his English name, so she calls him ‘Boy-boy’. But even if she can pronounce his English name, she’ll probably call him [...]

Grace Park @ Serangoon Gardens

Ever since I first saw Grace Park in Serangoon Gardens, I’ve been wanting to take a photo and put on this blog. But always, I’ve either forgot to bring my camera, or went out of Serangoon Gardens the wrong way.
Not today though. I had to pass through Serangoon Gardens to drop off [...]

Head in the clouds

I like clouds. I like to see clouds, and I like to walk with my head in the clouds. I wonder what the people working in top floors of Singapore’s tallest buildings are thinking when the rain clouds come low enough to obscure one third of the building…

John Paw

Apologies for the lack of updates on this blog. It’s been a re-eally busy time for me. But the most important thing is that I’m happy. Nutella’s happy, and so I am.
Nutella’s got a new job working at Mount Alvernia, and in the line that she specializes in. She’s got a good working environment and [...]

An evening at the Expo

One way! Jesus!
You’re the only one I can live for!

Oh, enough already! I’ve had that sung running through my head for the past two hours, after the Archdiocesan Youth Day (AYD) rally ended, and I still can’t get it out!
I don’t like attending rallies. Maybe it’s because I’ve attended several before… Maybe [...]

Hamster 1-metre Dash

Nutella entered her “Champ” into a Hamster 1-metre Dash competition last Sunday. Unfortunately, a tragedy occurred, which you won’t get to see here. What you will see are some of the photos I took at the competition venue…
